No, the Landlord will prorate the rent to only cover the days that you will be living there.

Can I sublet my apartment?

Can I break my lease?

Some landlords will allow you to break your lease. However, you will most likely be charged a lease break fee.

If I'm on a lease with my roommate, who is responsible if one leaves?

In a roommate situation, you are all bound to whatever the monthly rental fee is. The rent is still due on the first of the month so you will all be responsible for having to make that happen.

Can my parents co-sign on a Boston apartment rental?

All students will need a co-signer. In the case of a first job situation, the landlord may still require a co-signer.

Do you run credit checks?

Most landlords require a credit check.
